Cue the Alice Cooper

And another year is in the books...almost.

Yesterday was the last day of school. It was marked by plenty of cookies, cupcakes, movies, and a nice slide show.

All I can say is thank God it is over. It isn't that the year was particularly stressful. It is more that I always felt like I was just hanging on. I guess that is an improvement. Most years I feel like I am in freefall for the last few weeks as everything comes due.

Today the teachers are at school scoring work samples, entering grades and cleaning out the rooms. My goal for the day is to get the grades and work samples entered and get the information entered in to the student file folders. If I can get all that done, I should be able to get the room cleaned out pretty well tomorrow.

There is always the option to come back on Monday, but that is not very appealing. I have a chicken coop to build and exercises to complete, and maybe even have a little rest, relaxation, and catch up on blog reading.
